An accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), I have completed extensive advanced training and education in cosmetic dentistry. As the first dentist in the city of Chicago to successfully pass the rigorous five year Accreditation Board Examination of my work and cases, I am able to offer my patients a very high level of clinical excellence and ability in cosmetic dentistry. I further advanced my skills by achieving Fellow Status with AACD in December 2008.
Additionally, because I am a Certified Implantologist, our office is one of the few in Chicago that provide certified surgical placement and cosmetic restoration of dental implants. I offer you more than 10 years of experience in this discipline.
Other specializations include modern-day bone regenerative materials, tissue-guided membranes and tissue-grafting procedures. The results can be amazing!
As for my personal life, it has been blessed with a strong family background and enduring friends who have shaped and encouraged my ethics, devotion and care for others.
As a child full of energy, I relished building, collecting, playing sports, listening to music and creating just about anything.
I haven't changed as an adult! I still pursue hobbies and outdoor activities, particularly challenging athletic competition. My current passion is riding my bike to work along Chicago's lakefront.
My better habits include heathful eating and regular exercise. You will also always find me ready to study or discuss advances in science, physics and dentistry (which I plan to teach when I retire).
I am grateful for my loving and supportive family. My wife and I have two boys, ages nine and seven and a year old baby daughter. We enjoy simple family activities such as camping, trips to the beach, summertime cookouts and Saturday-morning pancakes.
I have learned through the years that Dentistry is, in part, about personal relationships. I believe it is important to care for both the patient and the person.
