He elected to have them removed with laser treatments done in my office. A tunable dye laser was used to treat the veins which specifically targets pigment in the blood vessels to destroy the vessels without damage to the skin.

Details: These views from the left show a dramatic reduction of the number and size of the spider veins (telangiectasias). He has had three or four treatments. The remainder would probably be eliminated with one more session.
